I'm sick of people saying UNDEAD minis.
Oh, and people wanting to piss you off.
Me: WTS Demonslaying Sword Pommel 25k!
He: I'll take it. I open trade, he offers 9k and calls me jew for not accepting.
WTF Is wrong with this people?

I don't have problems ignoring Kamatards. When trading, the most douchebag offers and asking prices come from an easily recognizable part of the community: Obsi dyed black, Failgloves dyed some ungodly color small children get seizures from, Blindfold and a name spelled in ALL CAPS. Because, hey - I'm so important and awesome writing my name in anything but ALL CAPS is blasphemy and if it were RL you'd be giving me a complimentary handjob just for being in my vicinity.

Don't question yourself if you know how much an item is worth, especially a staple like elite tomes which hold their value. Some people are counting on that and think they'll score a good deal.
I had it happen back around WiK when I got Law/Order. First offer was like 40k because I said I wasn't sure how much they were worth, and he/she tried to convince me that was the going rate. I considered selling because I wondered if maybe the value had completely lost. Waited a bit longer and had an eager buyer for 20e.
More recently I posted an unded Yakkington in Spamadan; didn't get interest but one person who offered 60k. You don't even respond to those people. Finally sold for 28e + a cupcake to an excited buyer through auction.

Doing this is much more fun when you actually have ursan on your bar.

I think you might qualify for having too much gold if you have all of the storage space (including inventory) filled with armbraces and extreme value minis + max gold in storage and on all characters. Or if they atleast have an amount where it becomes an obstruction in normally playing the game. I somehow doubt anyone would be close to that though, even the richest people I know of have nowhere near that amount.

Doing a mission with the guild, we grabbed a PUG MESMER to fill the last spot, when we got in we noticed a sword and sheild. Didn't think much of it until she started running up and fighting with the tank. When asked she said this:
"Don't worry, I might be a mesmer, but I'm one of the best tanks in the game!"

Perhaps she was running Illusionary Weapon? With the right Mantra/s up, and under the right conditions, she MAY have BEEN more effective than the tank!

Agreed. Though an Enchanting-modded scythe would make a much better weapon choice.
After the recent dervish update though, its not longer possible to make a near-unkillable Me/D build out of dervish enchantments, so the IW-mesmer has lost a lot of the little credibility it had.

Just speculating here, but couldn't an IW Mesmer/Ele running the Terra-Tank skills pretty much kick it?

Why so sexist? I'm a male AND one of the better tanks in the game on my mesmer AND I don't even use melee weapons.

Highlighted why you're probably a better tank
Besides, I hate teams with dedicated tanks. A bow+Prot Spirit is all you need.
